Many brilliant concepts never come to life simply because artists do not speak the \u201clanguage of administration\u201d.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"671\">A joint programme by the <span class=\"contents\" data-content-reference-start=\"394\" data-content-reference-end=\"459\"><span class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kreativnaevropa.rs\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Creative Europe Desk Serbia<\/a><\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"contents\" data-content-reference-start=\"461\" data-content-reference-end=\"490\"><span class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/opens.rs\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OPENS<\/a><\/span><\/span> and Europe House Novi Sad offered a solution through the two-day practical training <strong data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"612\">\u201cCulture Moves Europe: Have an Idea? Make It Happen!\u201d<\/strong>, held in mid-August at the OPENS Youth Centre in Novi Sad.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"673\" data-end=\"928\">Following the training, 15 young artists and cultural professionals had a ready-made \u201cframework\u201d for their project ideas and were prepared to apply independently for European funding under the Creative Europe programme, with a new call opening in October.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12411\" src=\"https:\/\/evropskakuca.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/kreativna-evropa-2-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evropskakuca.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/kreativna-evropa-2-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/evropskakuca.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/kreativna-evropa-2-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/evropskakuca.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/kreativna-evropa-2-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/evropskakuca.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/kreativna-evropa-2.jpeg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"1298\"><strong data-start=\"930\" data-end=\"949\">Milica Ra\u0161kovi\u0107<\/strong> from the Creative Europe Desk Serbia points out that artists from this part of Europe often remain within the borders of the former Yugoslavia, missing out on opportunities offered by the wider European space. This is why the training was designed to encourage participants to <em data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1298\">\u201cbroaden their horizons and think not regionally, but European-wide.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1413\">Ra\u0161kovi\u0107 also stresses that the <strong data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1356\">Culture Moves Europe<\/strong> programme is not intended exclusively for organisations.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1720\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\" data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1720\"><em data-start=\"1417\" data-end=\"1706\">\u201cCulture Moves Europe is intended for artists and cultural professionals who can apply as individuals. So this is not a call for organisations, but for individuals who can either go alone or in a group of up to five people to another country and carry out their own small-scale project,\u201d<\/em> she explains.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"1920\">The seminar was held to mark International Youth Day at the OPENS Youth Centre, and the training culminated on 13 August with an open-air screening of the film <span class=\"contents\" data-content-reference-start=\"1902\" data-content-reference-end=\"1976\"><span class=\"\" data-state=\"closed\"><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt12885338\/?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">*The Summer I Learned to Fly*<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"2170\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This domestic hit, developed with the support of the MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe, tells a story about growing up and overcoming barriers, perfectly reflecting the essence of the training: <strong data-start=\"2121\" data-end=\"2170\" data-is-last-node=\"\">building connections and broadening horizons.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Navigating bureaucratic mazes, writing lengthy applications and translating creative ideas into formal tables can be a major obstacle for many artists and creative professionals.
