We continue our journey through French animated films with the sci-fi film “Time Lords” directed by René Lalu, a French animator, screenwriter and director.
The screening is scheduled for March 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. at the European House Nis (Vožda Karađorđa 5).
“Lords of Time” is a film from 1982 based on the original work by Moebius (Jean Giraud) and Stefan Wool, and co-produced by France, Switzerland, Hungary and Germany.
It is based on the 1958 science fiction novel “L’Orphelin de Perdide” (‘The Orphan of Perdide’) by Stefan Wool. The film focuses on a boy named Phil, who is stranded on Perdid, a desert planet inhabited by giant killer hornets. He awaits rescue from space pilot Jafar, the exiled Prince Maton, his sister Belle, and Jafar’s old friend Silbad as they try to reach Perdid and save Pyll before it’s too late.
The film is in French with English subtitles. The duration of the film is 80 minutes. The application link is HERE.
We organize the French animated film review in partnership with the French Institute in Serbia. As part of the revue, we will show eight animated films signed by French authors.
