For years, the Danish company "Lego" has been selling a model of bricks authentically made after the one in which little Kevin (35 years ago) outwitted thieves, which is located in Illinois, for about $250.
The house is the most common, integral part of the magic of the film. As a home, a mystical building, a visual element, a symbol of warmth and security, a source of conflict, love, hatred - the house has always inspired creators.
In Belgrade, on the corner of Knez Mihailova and Zmaj Jovina streets, the Europe House is opening. At about 700 square meters, modernly equipped and dedicated to all interested visitors, it aspires to be a roof under which debates, presentations, exhibitions, shows - jointly participate in the modernisation of Serbia.
From 12 September, the European House becomes a movie house, because it will host the European Film Festival, a unique review of the achievements of the seventh art behind European and guest productions. This year, the selection of films for this year's European Film Festival represents cinematographic works created with the support of the ACP-EU Culture Programme (Africa Caribbean Pacific - European Union Culture Programme) over the last 25 years.
