Start 2025 the right way - in the Europe House

The European House is also preparing an interesting program for you in the New Year, in January focused on film, literature and cultural heritage.

The films shown as part of Film Friday at the European House represent a selection of contemporary European cinema. This month, you can look forward to the production of The Man without Guilt, a Slovenian-Italian-Croatian co-production, the animated film Icarus and the Minotaur, created in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium, and on the last day of the month, the Polish film Dangerous Gentleman. Screenings are free, but registration is required via this link.

From December, Wednesdays at the European House are dedicated to literature through a series of events called Books at the Center. These evenings focus on the most representative and intriguing literary events and phenomena of contemporary European culture. The main goal of the program is to showcase the richness and diversity of European literature, from today’s great literary stars, through young and innovative writers, to radical artistic practices that question the boundaries of human freedom within the highly complex socio-cultural, economic, and political European context. You can find more information here.

On Saturdays, with children aged 6 to 14, we embark on a journey through time. Through the game of pencil and paper, we will bring to life old crafts such as goldsmiths, tailors, coopers, ferrymen, saddlers, watchmakers, and traditional shoemakers. We will connect Serbia's cultural heritage with Europe's in a series of workshops. You can find more information here.
