Europe House is a long-term communication project of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia.Through the Europe Houses in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Novi Pazar, as well as through numerous activities throughout Serbia, the project provides information on the programs, institutions and policies of the European Union, as well as on the relations between Serbia and the European Union.
Europe House is more than a physical space – it is an ‘open classroom’ but also a ‘living room of Europe in Serbia’. A place where your voice can be heard and where the information, culture and experiences of Serbian citizens and the ideas of the European Union come together every day.
In our House you can talk, ask, learn, but also get useful information about the European Union and how you can participate in various activities in the fields of innovation, education, culture, economy, sports and youth.
We are committed to strengthening ties between Serbia and the European Union. We are here to show that the European Union is not a distant bureaucracy, but a set of tangible opportunities, partnerships and experiences. That Europe in Serbia is shaped by its citizens, with all their doubts, ambitions, and everyday habits.
Europe House operates as the EU communication hub in Serbia and as a space where citizens actively and collectively take part in shaping the country’s European future. Its mission is to clarify and bring closer what may often seem abstract, to encourage open dialogue and the exchange of ideas, and to strengthen cooperation between Serbia and the European Union by creating a space for a society that shares common values and goals.
We believe in the power of cooperation, the importance of mutual respect and dialogue, and the role of education as a key tool in building a prosperous society. Our programmes and activities aim to create an inclusive environment in which every idea is valued and every citizen is given the opportunity to contribute to the promotion and preservation of European values in Serbia.
We organize workshops for children and youth, training programs, exhibitions, film screenings, cultural performances, and info sessions, as well as lectures, seminars, roundtables, panel discussions, and debates.
Our doors are always open to you in Belgrade, at the corner of Knez Mihailova and Zmaj Jovina streets, every weekday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.
